Shadegg: Obama plan doesnt address right issues

Arizona Republican Congressman John Shadegg said President Barack Obama did fine in his first prime time news conference since taking office, but Shadegg still was not a fan of the economic stimulus package expected to be approved Tuesday by the Senate.

Shadegg, who voted against the stimulus package passed by the House last week, said Obamas proposals do not address the concerns of the American people.

I think the American people have two concerns number one, will it create jobs? And, number two, what consequences will it create down the road? No less than the Congressional Budget Office, which is non-partisan, says that in the long-run, this bill will do more damage than good, said Shadegg.

The congressman said some jobs will be created, but he expects Obamas package to fall well short of its promises.
