AZ delegation helps shoot down Vietnam trade pact

Three Arizona Republicans and two Democrats were among those voting to block a proposed free trade accord between the U.S. and Vietnam.

The U.S. House of Representatives failed to muster the necessary two-thirds approval of a bill that would lift trade barriers with Vietnam.

Republican Congressmen Trent Franks, J.D. Hayworth and Rick Renzi voted against a move to propel the trade bill forward as did the states two Democratic Congressmen Raul Grijalva and Ed Pastor.

Hayworth and Franks are worried about China, which is in the neigborhood
